At the end of the module, learners should be able to:
- Understand different methods of ethical decision-making.
- Develop a solid understanding of current ethical and legal issues in nursing.
- Identify ethical challenges in nursing, and identify legislation that can help to clarify legal questions.
- Recognize and utilize ethical decision-making frameworks to facilitate the identification and resolution of ethical issues.
- Understand moral distress, and advance support for themselves and others in addressing such distress.
