At the end of this module, learners should be able to:

  1. Define ethical leadership and recognize how the concept relates to other aspects of nursing leadership.
  2. Examine strategies that foster ethical principles in daily practice for yourself and team members.
  3. Explore the role of values and identify the values guiding your practice.
  4. Evaluate how nursing leaders use courage and develop moral resistance as part of their practice.
  5. Develop strategies for self-care and preservation as a nursing leader.
