There are three types of interpersonal conflict, relationship, task, and process. In this section, we will explore how interpersonal conflict occurs in nursing workplaces, nurse-client conflict, nurse-nurse conflict, and nurse-workplace conflict.  In addition, you will learn about the ethical conflicts experienced by nurses as well as some of the concepts related to interpersonal conflict. Conflict has an impact on the quality of patient care and this too will be discussed.
