In this section, learners will explore the theoretical foundations of how many of our decisions are made. A number of philosophical theories will be explored, such as Utilitarianism and Deontology, and learners will dive into the most common approach to decision-making in health care: Principlism. After completing this section, learners should have a better understanding of the justification we can provide for our actions based on the theories/methods discussed.
