5 Teaching Assistant & Site Attendents

When you have a Teaching role within a UR Courses site, you are able to assign roles to other users within the same course. Below are a few a LIVE instructor may consider using. A reminder there may be Regional College site attendants added into your course site, depending on the provincial location and class size.

• Teaching Assistant – can teach in courses and grade students, but may not add, remove, or alter content, resources, or activities
• Invited Guest – the same capabilities as a student, but Invited Guests will not show up in the gradebook.
• Student – do not add students into the course. Students are added based upon registration records, and will automatically appear every 24 hours.
