RELAIS SEARCH MANUAL- SUPPLYING

Relais

For lending requests that do not find a match in our catalogue they will be moved to the Search Manual–Supplying queue.

• Select Search Manual-Supplying

• Click + by Request Number

• Click Magnifying Glass to get to catalogue search
• You can do a catalogue search from this screen to see if it is in our holdings – this is not required but can help to see which step to take next.
  • Example Request Routing or Unfill/Cancel
• Search Group: Select Lending
• Click Search

• In this example you will see we have the item but it states it is not requestable
• Click Show Non Available Holdings

Example

• Click the Hamburger (three lines in right hand corner)
• Select operation you would like to take

• Select Request Routing
• Select SRU
• Click Submit Request

• By selecting the supplier – SRU, or a holdings location from Quick Find this moves the item to Distribute Requests where you will continue to process to request

• If you know an item cannot be filled you do not need to select request routing
• Click the Hamburger
• Click Unfilled/Cancel Tab
• Click Reason Unfilled from Drop Down
• Click Update
