Boxes of microfilm often have the title information printed on the box. Whether or not this information is on the box, a call number label and a title label are placed on the narrow side of the box but not on the opening flap.
A second title label is placed on the opposite narrow side of the box if the title information is not already printed there. This enables clients to see call number and title information from both sides of the pull out microfilm drawers.
Microfilm does not require tattle tape or stamps

Microfiche require a call number label and a title label to be placed on the front of the envelope
The call number label is placed on the upper left corner and the title label is centered near the top of the envelope
