The resources below are to assist you becoming a successful graduate of your online course or program. We have grouped the supports based on your needs. There is a technology section, one for academic information and one for other things you may find helpful.

Technology support for online learners

  • WebAdvisor
    Review registration information, make fee payments,  view your grades, update your address and more.
  • FanshaweOnline (FOL)
    Download course notes, do quizzes, read and send emails, participate in online discussions and more.
  • MyFanshawe
    Discover what is happening at Fanshawe, get information on student services, access College documents and more.
  • IT Service Desk
    Get assistance with login and general information.
  • IT Service Desk – live help
    Get live chat assistance with login and general information.

Academic Support for Online Learners

  • Library & Media Services
    With your Fanshawe username and password you can access databases, journals, e-books, stream video and other online content from anywhere in the world.
  • Peer Tutoring
    Students needing one on one course support can seek help from a Peer Tutor who can connect remotely through video conferencing tools.
  • Academic Advisors
    We have staff that can provide academic advice and support. You can connect with your Academic Advisor by email or phone.
  • eLearning Program Coordinators
    As an online student, you have access to Fanshawe academic faculty who supervise and deliver elearning course material.

Administrative  Support

  • Student Code of Conduct
    Whether off campus, on campus or learning virtually, all students are expected to act in a respectful manner towards all members of the Fanshawe community as outlined in our code of conduct.

Additional supports

  • Accessibility
    Students who would like to connect with a Fanshawe Accessibility Counsellor to discuss an accommodation can do so via email or phone. Those needing a face to face appointment may come to the London Campus.
  • Counselling
    Students who would like to connect with a Fanshawe Counsellor to discuss a personal matter can do so via email or phone. Those needing a face-to-face appointment may come to the London Campus or will be referred to a community agency.
  • Employment and Student Entrepreneurial Services
    Services and supports to help you find work during or after you have successfully completed your online program, as well as resources if you would like to start your own business. Staff are available by email, phone or video conference.
  • FSU Student Health Plan
    A portion of your student fees pay for the FSU student health plan.
  • Indigenous Peoples at Fanshawe
    First Nations, Métis, Non-status and Inuit students who would like to connect with staff in Fanshawe’s Institute for Indigenous Learning can do so via email, phone or video conference.
  • Office of the Ombuds
    Students who would like to connect with the Ombuds to discuss a concern or dispute can do so via email, phone or video conference.
  • Retail Services
    All the resources you need to study and learn can be ordered online and sent to your front door.
