Joyce is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences, University of Saskatchewan. She is a geomicrobiologist, specializing in studies of environmental remediation and mine waste reclamation. Karla is a Sessional Instructor at the University of Saskatchewan, teaching at St Peter’s College, the Department of Geological Sciences, and in Distance Education. Karla’s scientific background is in stable isotope geochemistry and Earth-system change modelling. She is the lead author on the Physical Geology Textbook 2nd and 3rd Adapted Editions projects.
